1. PPPOE router setup for a small PC with PFSense – requirements for 2.5GB and 10GB storage
2. Configuration needs for PFSense on a mini computer; should I add a switch or build everything myself?
3. Connectivity options: DHCP via WAN, PPPOE with 2.5GB vs 10GB, and how to access WAN/WIFI/Internet RJ45 with sufficient space.

Your message is unclear. Could you clarify what you mean by "iSCSI" and how it relates to your goal? You seem to be asking about the relevance of iSCSI in the context of setting up PFSense or OPNsense.

I planned to assemble a compact PC but found it hard to locate the 2.5GB and 10GB motherboards. I needed Wi-Fi that lets me reach all parts of the house, only if connected to WAN via PPOPE from my service provider’s network, with the proper agreement. I was looking for home-based requirements, security considerations, plus IPTV support.

Set up two NAS installations using TRUENAS or add a PFSense VPN via WIREGUARD. Connect the computer with a 10GbE port and ensure it uses RJ45 for the network.

You can use a network file share or cloud service to move your 10GB data from the NAS to your home computer. Make sure the connection speed supports large transfers.
