Hey, perhaps im just dumb or want something impossible... I have a PC and a Mac and want to use the PC as a Server to host Orchestral Samples for my Logic Pro Template. I wanted to connect the PC and the Mac directly via gigabit Ethernet (both have a seperate Internetconnection). And i cant find out how to configure the Network settings in order to achieve that. Any Network Wizards around who could point me to the right resource? cause i cant seem to find it (probably an issue of me not knowing what to search for exactly) Thanks In Advance Anadres

Configure the network interfaces statically to the same IP range, such as 10.10.10.1 and 10.10.10.2. Implement a method to share files between them, like a common folder on the computer, and use SMB for connections. Subnet mask should be 255.255.255.0 with no gateway or DNS settings.

Thank you very much. It still took me a while, but it was the right pointer I needed.
