You can link the two local networks together. Both routers are set up for full-duplex at 1000 Mbps. You should be able to access the NAS from the devices on the first router while your friend uses it. Just ensure both networks are properly connected and configured correctly.

You have two routers for backup or redundancy. The network layout shows this setup, not just a single switch. Switching to NAT on the second router is an option if needed.

Turn off NAT and DHCP on the second router to ensure all devices connect to the same network.

The primary router supports just four connections, and there’s no space for the NAS in its location. I’ll attempt this.

Choose a switch instead of another router.

I placed an order for a $50 PSU yesterday, which is why I've been hesitating on purchasing new items until next month. At the moment, disabling nat and dhcp helped but only at 100Mbps; 1Gbps isn't working yet. I'm trying to determine what's causing the issue.

They’re not sure how to spend $30 for just switching between the three of you.
