Essential advice for starting your PC gaming journey.
Relax and give yourself time to adjust. The online scene might be even nastier than on consoles. You won’t hear as many 12-year-olds blaming you, but older folks will still lash out. Stay strong, keep it light with some fun exchanges, and have your Xbox ready for those driving games. Using a keyboard isn’t ideal for driving titles.
For FPS, aim for minimal sensitivity so you don’t have to move your mouse much.
Lol, I still use a controller. It mostly comes down to getting used to the timing.
Just like anything, getting better comes from practice. Many games work with controllers too, which means you can try that. I haven’t had the exact same experience either.
Stay consistent with your approach, it will become familiar. A controller adapter is always an option.
Here you go, a random tipp: Always use the same sensitivity for 1st person games. Once you find a good sensitivity get a piece of paper, put the mouse on one end, do a 360° ingame (might want to aim at a specific point of reference first), and mark where it ends. when you get a new game you just need to place the mouse on the starting end, move the mouse to the end point and either raise or lower the sensitivity so it matches. This will make it much quicker to master new games controls.
You'll need to clean up for a while, then after a long time you'll see everything clearly again.
