ESDF for CS:GO?
ESDF for CS:GO?
I recently discovered the EDSF keybindings and wanted to explore them further. It seems logical to me. They allow more keys to be used and fit naturally with your left hand during gameplay. What are your thoughts? Have you experimented with ESDF in games, especially FPS titles like CS:GO or Call of Duty? If so, how did it feel? Do you still use it regularly? I’m keen to understand more since I’m used to WASD in those games.
I think I could give that a shot—it feels quite nice. My hands are a bit large, so it would make things a bit more spaced out. But it would still be a change!
I haven't played it in the game... just after seeing your post I replied, hehe.
I personally gave it a try and initially found it a bit challenging. My pinky was positioned farther away from the others, making it hard to reach the SHIFT key. After a few sessions, I adapted, but I quickly returned to using the standard WASD controls. It wasn’t clear how to utilize those additional keys.
Do you have a projectile tied to every key? I faced a problem with WASD since I was missing the decoy nade, but ESDF worked. It’s useful to assign one projectile per button so you don’t accidentally press multiple times and avoid using the scroll wheel—never use it!
It seems you're talking about using your mouse and the G502 mouse. You mentioned enjoying using your mouse for projectiles and found the G502's buttons helpful in games like CS:GO.
