Experiencing difficulties with keyboard input after the Windows 11 update. I can no longer double-click a key without pressing another one in between; instead, I hear a chirping sound and there’s no response to the input. Even while typing right now, this problem persists. Could a new setting have been added that caused this, or did something like a cat sitting on my laptop trigger a hotkey change? My work relies heavily on typing on this machine, and this issue is really frustrating. Please assist me.

Never leave out the cat causing trouble. Regarding the setup, I recall an older Windows version with names like "bounce keys" or "slow keys" in the keyboard settings. The purpose of this feature was to stop faulty keyboards or people with shaky hands from pressing the same key more than once when it shouldn’t happen. Hope this clears things up.
