Good day, so I've tried this new "system" called Windows 11 and when playing a game called Dead Island 2 I'm getting out of memory errors (the VRAM one) after about 5 minutes of gameplay. I'm suspecting the reason for this might lay in the fact that I'm testing this system, and I'm testing it on a separate drive partition that doesn't have too many space (53.4GB to be precise), but that's just a guess that it might be interfering with anything, be kind to correct if this isn't the case
This issue never existed on my main Windows 10 system that's also actually more than a year old. Need assistance in understanding the nature of this issue if whether it's a hardware issue (which I doubt as Windows 10 does perfectly fine with this and other games for me) or it is a software problem, precisely Windows 11 being of fault.
in case you need specs
TMP enabled not bypassed
R5 3600 OC'd, RX 570 8 GB OC'd, system on SSD, 16GB DDR4-3200 RAM.

Your graphics card isn't meeting the required video RAM capacity.
This issue isn't related to system RAM or virtual memory on storage devices.
Lower the in-game resolution,
adjust graphics quality settings,
and decrease texture quality.

My GPU has 8gb, which meets the basic system needs for this game that also requires 8gb. But on Windows 10 it doesn't work like that. Your suggestion seems unnecessary.

Are you setting the graphics quality to the lowest options?
It's likely you're using ultra quality with very detailed textures.
Your resolution is probably around 1440p or 4K. That's correct?

i'm running with the lowest settings except for textures, everything is at minimum, and i'm using the fsr preset balanced. this can't be due to a VRAM shortage. and it's all in 1080p.

I would have stopped trying once it became clear no one here is compensated for assistance.

The issue clearly indicates a VRAM problem. For testing, reduce the texture resolution to the lowest possible and observe the outcome. If the error disappears, adjust the settings gradually until it returns, then revert to the maximum value that still causes the error.
