The grey text beneath the bios version notes the file size and release date as updates included in the BIOS. These are not mandatory requirements. The CPU support list indicates version 6042 was available when the board received support for that processor. It's recommended to update first to that version, then proceed with the latest release after installing the 5600G.

I encounter the same issue with version 5862 or newer on the A8-9600. Should I install the 5600G first and then update, or should I go straight to version 6042 on the A8 with the 5600G? Just confirming, do you mean updating to 6042 on the A8, adding the 5600G, and then updating to the newest release?
Edit: The BIOS download page mentions support for more processors but removes compatibility with 7th generation A chips. Does that affect my A8?
