The failures occur significantly more often when XMP is active during periods of increased load, whereas it was inactive and only resulted in one incident every 7 hours.

They are placed in positions 2 and 4 as well; I also experimented with one stick at a time in slot 2. The signal operates at 2133MHz base frequency.

And consistently getting one stick produced identical crashes.

The BIOS was last updated several months ago, which should enhance memory performance. Starting here can be a smart approach.

I noticed you changed the BIOS yesterday, just two days ago.

Have you attempted to reposition the CPU again? Look for any bent pins within the motherboard socket.

I also attempted to reinstall it last night and didn't notice any bent pins.

Have you attempted using memtest86? You might want to check if the CPU or motherboard is faulty, especially since you can't achieve JEDEC timings without XMP.

I'm halfway through the exam, so I'll try it again because it didn't finish. The motherboard is brand new, while the CPU and RAM are second-hand. Just make sure to run the test without XMP enabled.
