Error triggered by PCI Express root port issue leading to freezing or blue screen.
Completed a PC build using the listed components. Installation proceeded without issues, but after Windows setup I encountered random freezes and blue screens. The event viewer displayed an error related to PCI Express. Despite updating BIOS and reinstalling software, the problem persisted. Any suggestions would be appreciated. This might indicate a hardware fault, possibly involving the motherboard or a component.
Replace your GPU first. Next, switch your PCIe slot to Gen 3 compatibility. Someone experienced similar issues with a riser card only when using Gen 4 mode.
Access a minidump file here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1CeOcdKs...sp=sharing
It mentions you placed the file in the recycle bin, preventing access. Are these the original files you intended to keep? (Excluding any from the Sysnative tool)
Thanks for the update. Those files came from the minidump directory.
Both failures indicate a problem with a PCIe component, often the GPU or an NVMe drive. WiFi functionality might also be affected. The crash linked to Gigabyte’s EasyTuneEngineService.exe suggests possible overclocking activity.
