Hello, I encountered some problems with my PC recently. The day before it was still functioning properly, but today when trying to turn it on, the monitor shows no display, though the PC remains active and operational. I noticed a red indicator in the corner of the motherboard.
I attempted to resolve the issue by changing the CPU, checking cables, cleaning the RAM, resetting CMOS, but nothing helped. Eventually, I tried using only two RAM slots first, which worked perfectly. After that, I added more RAM to slot 4 as originally intended, but still no display appeared. Then I changed the slots again and used just two RAM slots once more, figuring out if there was a fault in the motherboard slots. After rebooting, it worked again. However, the motherboard's red light indicator remains off.
Despite using four RAM slots, the monitor still shows no display, and the red light stays on. I’m wondering if there’s something missing here. All RAM slots and their dimming functions work correctly when using just two, but not when using all four. My PC specifications are: I5 9400F, 64GB Corsair Vengeance 2666MHz DDR4, B365m Phantom Gaming motherboard, MSI RX 2060 6GB, and Corsair CV450 PSU with 80+ power delivery.
Is XMP activated in the BIOS settings? If yes, start with one DIMM and reinitialize the BIOS. Proceed again.
4 Rams shows increased current; it might indicate a faulty power source.
