I experience BSODs when connecting and disconnecting USB devices occasionally. My USB drivers are all current according to Device Manager. This issue occurs with various USB peripherals such as my mouse, microphone, and several gamepads. Updating the Ryzen chipset drivers didn't resolve it. I'm using an ASUS B650 Prime Plus motherboard with a Ryzen 5 7600x running the latest BIOS. The problem appears with both motherboard USB 3 ports and my case USB 3 port. After restarting, devices function normally.

I came across this Reddit discussion and it seems the problem might be linked to Gigabyte RGB Fusion software. This is quite surprising, especially if others with similar GPUs are experiencing the same issue. I'm not sure if removing the software resolved my problem yet, but it would be interesting to know.

The computer would become unresponsive during the screensaver, but resumed after removing the USB. It was running on an ASRock motherboard. Have you reached out to Asus for assistance?
