Details: AMD Ryzen 9 5900X MSI X570-A PRO AMD X570 12GB MSI GeForce RTX 3060 Ventus 2X OC • ASUS GTX1060-O6G-DUAL (second card, not dual-GPU) 32GB (4x8GB) G.Skill Trident Z DDR4-3600 DIMM CL18-22-22-42 (F4-3600C18D-16GTZRX) 1TB SamsungSSD • Please be quiet! Dark Rock Pro 4 750W quiet. Pure Power 11 Windows 10 Home 64bit – not overclocked manually, OC parts functioning normally. Latest BIOS, updated drivers, fresh Windows install on used SSD. This build frequently crashes during gameplay, when closing apps, or during specific scenes like in Plague Tale: Innocence. The WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR appears. Occasionally the system freezes completely, resembling high contrast mode at 480p, then restarts. Recently changed RAM and GPU from an older machine; crashes persist. What should I do next? Previously, no crashes occurred with a single HDMI 60Hz monitor at my parents' place, only when using DisplayPort on two high-refresh monitors at home. Memtest86 found no issues; the system handled a classroom benchmark for over an hour without crashes, though this happened every 5–15 minutes during games. (*Performance improved by setting sample rate to 999999999 for testing*)

The temperatures rise significantly when the CPU is under load, as seen in tests with Prime95, Small FTT, and OCCT Linpack. Running Unigine Heaven or 3DMark often causes crashes due to high thermal stress.

I only executed the standard prime95 test, but if you're mainly concerned about temperatures, the new Ryzen units run quite hot on purpose and consistently reached 80-90 degrees, never exceeding that. I also disabled hwinfo until after a crash when temperatures remained normal. The last recorded temp was 72 degrees. I didn't run Unigine or 3DMark, but I did test Prime95 and Furmark at the same time and everything functioned properly. Edit: Spelling corrected August 27, 2022 by Ospre

I've been using these games for a while yesterday, and it looks like crashes vary with the titles. Rainbow Six Siege didn't fail during 3 hours, whereas Plague Tale stopped after about 10 minutes each time I tried. This pattern also occurred with the 3060 and the 1060 (6GB) I swapped in for testing. It also crashes while playing Hunt Show Don, less frequently than Plague Tale but much more often than in R6. Do these titles share any similarities or differences from R6? My play sessions range from 10 to 16 hours, with around 6 crashes in Plague Tale, 4 in Hunt, and just 1 in R6. Everything ran smoothly on the older system using the same 1060, so it's unclear how this affects the new version. *Note: Also no crashes on OSU and one right after another restart while launching in Windows or opening autostart programs.*

I attempted to return the product via RMA, but it didn't resolve the issue. I tried disabling c states for the processor, yet the problem persisted. I suspect the issue lies with the motherboard or CPU, not the power supply since the computer still runs smoothly under heavy load. I'm considering these parts might be faulty. Could you share your thoughts? I'll attach the minidump files as soon as possible. Right now I'm offline and writing this from my phone.
