I have been noticing for a while now that whenever i have xmp profile enabled. The vc redist get corrupted and as a result my games on steam and ubisoft start showing corrupt update files whenever i verify their files due to the games crashing. Disabling xmp profile does fix it but i was wondering if anyone know what i can do to not have the problem when enabling xmp profile because i do want to use my rams on their full capacity which is 3600mhz instead of the default 2133mhz my specs are GIGABYTE AORUS ELITE (REV 1.0) B550 RYZEN 5600X 32 GB CORSAIR VENGEANCE LPX 3600 MHZ GIGABYTE EAGLE RTX 3060 (REV 2.0) 1TB SAMSUNG 970 EVO NVME 500 GB WD GREEN NVME

Enable XMP mode and adjust it to 3200 MHz. This change might fix the problem with only a slight slowdown versus 2133.

I'll check again to see if the issue remains.

Also keep in mind, XMP is an overclocked configuration. You can't be sure it will work even when set to XMP levels. Are you using 2 sticks or 4? More than 2 sticks tends to cause overclocking problems compared to 2 for timing stability. We've also seen Corsair Vengeance modules sometimes fail to run at their advertised XMP settings—use Memtest86 to check for stability.

I own four 16 GB RAM modules. I also plan to use MemTest86. I observed that the XMP profiles set the clock speeds much higher than the recommended values listed on Corsair’s website.

Corsair recommends 16-19-19-36 while the XMP profile 1 adjusts it to 18-22-22-42.

Various sets exist for each RAM type and generation, but you must use the specific configuration found on your unit—often a lengthy alphanumeric code on the DIMM or packaging. If XMP isn’t reliable, I set the speed, timing, and voltage directly on the modules and let the motherboard handle the finer details by keeping other settings automatic. These smaller parameters are usually tricky, but I’ve never encountered an issue with this approach.
