To confirm the variable was included, press [Win]+[Pause/Break], navigate to Advanced System Settings, and click the Environment Variables button. Then check the System section—should appear as Spoiler. If missing, use the provided interface to insert it without rebooting.
Thank you for your feedback. It was getting hard to trust my vision. I attempted both methods you suggested—disabling the absent devices—and nothing helped. Even with the added value, the device manager remained unchanged, and everything stayed the same, not even when I enabled "show hidden devices."
This was only to eliminate the possibility of it being overly concealed. Perhaps a safer mode would be better?
Thanks for your feedback. I need to admit, the issue was linked to "PowerISO." It triggered a virtual disk operation on E, and attempts to eject or unmount didn't succeed. It's frustrating dealing with these outdated software providers who can't handle basic tasks like removing drives when unused.
