I have a HP Pavilion with a 2200g processor. I used Ryzen Master for monitoring. The BIOS doesn’t support it, so I had to adjust everything. I set all cores to 3.9 initially, but it overheated and froze during Cinebench. I managed to get stable at 3.7 and 3.8. RAM was installed as a 2666 1x8 Samsung stick, which improved from 1333 to 1667 and stayed stable. APU graphics went from 1100 to 1350, also stable, though Ryzen Master showed 1340 after applying it—despite setting it to 1350. I prioritized single-thread performance for Cinebench, so I disabled two cores and bumped to 3.95, which worked fine. Then came 4.1, and whenever I open Ryzen Master and click the accept warning, I get a BSOD. Please help quickly.

The chip uses low-bin silicon. Achieving 4.1ghz would be unrealistic without strong cooling and a voltage of at least 1.45v or higher. A 3.8ghz to 3.9ghz range would be a typical overclock, possibly working below 1.4v if successful.

I understood, but I need assistance still. Others mentioned uninstalling Ryzen Master in safe mode, but will that restore the cores edit? And is it effective?

It's the sole method for overclocking. Removing it would limit your options.

I don't understand if it's closing the oc or not, and I'm unsure about whether two cores are disabled.

When you begin the PC, it likely activates the overclock. You won't need to remove it; instead, you can attempt to boot in safe mode. Navigate to MSconfig or system configuration, select the services tab, and uncheck Ryzen Master. This will restore normal Windows settings, allowing you to uninstall it. It might run without applying changes, but I'm not completely certain.

I covered everything about building and some overclocking tips, but I didn’t dive into Ryzen Master. I’m okay with software basics only—just a quick guide or a reliable link would be super useful. I’ve also realized to avoid using the prebuilt setups meant for word and emails.

Start by pressing F8 during boot to access BIOS settings. Next, choose boot options in safe mode. In the search area near the start button, input "MSConfig" or "System configuration" and launch the application. Navigate to the services section and enable all microsoft services, then uncheck "Ryzen Master apply." After that, save your changes and restart the system. It seems Ryzen Master won't activate in this environment, so you'll need to run the required services manually.
