I thought I was purchasing identical RAM modules, but they’re actually the updated version. Each package lists these specs: Current ram: pc4-19200 2400MHz New ram: pc4-21300 2666MHz Since they’re the same product (just newer), can I install them side by side?

These figures present several possible RAM configurations. If the timing matches, you can adjust the new units down and they should function together.

There isn't really a problem here. Your new RAM might be limited slightly since it will probably adjust to match the speed of your existing RAM.
