Thank you for your message. I'm using a Dell laptop with Windows 11 Pro, which was upgraded from Windows 10 a year ago. It currently uses a local account and has never had a Microsoft account linked to it. I'm experiencing some BSODs, which vary in type. It appears Windows 11 has activated BitLocker, but I can't locate the activation code because there hasn't been any login to generate it.

During BSODs, the laptop powers on and displays the desktop for a few seconds before the error occurs. The errors I encounter are: reference by pointer, system service exception, kernel security check failure, and bad object header. All of these suggest a driver-related issue, though I can't resolve them since the system doesn't stay on for more than ten seconds.

I've run a full scan with PC Check and everything looks fine on the hardware side. My next step is to enter Safe Mode to isolate drivers, but I need the BitLocker code which isn't tied to a Microsoft account. I'm struggling to find a solution and would appreciate any help.

It is a client computer, likely lacking an up-to-date backup.

Can you please upload* the minidumps from those BSODs? These could be driver-related but it's also very likely that bad RAM is the problem. We'll need to see the dump files themselves to know.
*Upload the dumps to the cloud with a link to them here - be sure to make them puiblic.

I'm not confident I can reach them.
Where exactly are they situated?
Starting the USB boot doesn't display the system drive because it's protected by a code that can't be accessed, as this device has never been linked to an MS account.

How much is the client ready to pay for the data? We could get a functional Dell of the same laptop and add storage inside.

BSOD dumps are located in C:\Windows\Minidump
Live kernel dumps are found in subfolders beneath C:\Windows\LiveKernelReports
