Hi, I recently built a new PC and all was well for about a month, now I've been getting the following issues over the last week, in this order: 1. BIOS suddenly reset itself to default. 2. BSOD with PFN_LIST_CORRUPT error 3. BSOD with MEMORY_MANAGEMENT error (had two of these now) I've also noticed it takes a lot longer to post than it did, booting and restarts have a black screen for about 15 seconds before the Aorus logo even shows, then that stays for a while before Windows starts, and Windows itself seems slower too. Before that it was very quick. Here's what I have, and thanks: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X 3.6 GHz 8-Core Processor Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE ATX AM4 Motherboard Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 Samsung 970 Evo Plus 250 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive Gigabyte GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER 8 GB WINDFORCE OC 3X EVGA 1000W PSU Microsoft Windows 10 Home OEM 64-bit

It seems like you're experiencing an issue possibly related to RAM and are seeking an alternative approach. Try a different keyword or method.

I replaced the RAM but the issue continues. It seems the BIOS reset might be the cause, even though not every setting returned to its original state. I only adjusted three parameters in the BIOS—RAM profile, turned off hot swapping since all drives appeared removable, and changed the fan profile. Only the first two settings were fully reset; the fan profile remained unchanged. Why does a BIOS partially revert to defaults?
