Downloaded the file from the website, placed it on a USB drive, accessed the motherboard BIOS, selected ASUS EzFlash 3, chose the downloaded BIOS in the USB key, confirmed by pressing OK, waited for the loading bar to complete, and upon success, rebooted with all settings cleared.
I thought it meant the CPU was taken out of the socket during cooler removal. I’m wondering if any parts were damaged. Did everything stay intact without power being off? The area around me is typical—humid enough for occasional moisture, but not overly damp. I worked on a carpeted floor.
