My brother's prebuilt iBuypower PC experiences a BSOD upon startup followed by a shutdown after two minutes. The error message indicates a missing or corrupted system driver, specifically pointing to "Windows/System32/Drivers/Ntfs.sys" with code 0xc00000f. It suggests using recovery tools, though the machine lacks an optical drive and any Windows 10 CDs. I'm unsure whether the problem lies with the hard drive or memory, but I've tried various fixes without success. If anyone has experience, please help—I'd appreciate it. Thanks in advance.

It seems your Windows setup is damaged, likely needing a fresh installation. Use a USB drive with at least 8GB and connect it to another functional Windows machine. Install the Media Creation tool from Microsoft and create a USB installer using the provided link.

Does Safe Mode function properly? If you're trying to reinstall, be sure to save your files beforehand.

Try switching to safe mode or exploring other options, as these usually resolve issues without triggering an error screen. Once in BIOS, you can access the UEFI settings for further troubleshooting. The media tool on the USB should work once you're in that environment.

You should have launched the media creation software on the device you downloaded it from, then chose the USB media creation feature, picking the USB drive as the output device since it cannot boot directly.
