Error: m.2 device not detected on new CPU
Upgrade your processor from a Ryzen 5 5600G to a Ryzen 7 5800X. Your current M.2 slot isn’t detecting the drive, but the CPU is installed. The top slot still refuses to recognize it. To boot, you must insert the new M.2 in the bottom slot. When you replace the old CPU, both slots work correctly.
Have you attempted resetting the CMOS after upgrading your CPU? It might resolve certain problems. If nothing was altered in your setup, you should still access all devices since both processors share identical PCIe lanes. Consider restricting the NVMe top drive to PCIe 3.0 for better performance. The 5800x supports higher PCIe speeds, so capping it at the older standard could address the SSD issue.
