Error indicating keyboard issue, USB device not recognized.
Try it for a day or so and observe how it goes. A few hours may not be sufficient.
the problem occurred recently, around 1:30h after booting. This time when I tried to unplug the keyboard and reconnect it, the error persisted (usb device not recognized). I’m using a different keyboard now to type this, so I hope it helps if the issue is still present.
Hey, my second keyboard functions properly most of the time, but occasionally it misses errors. However, my main keyboard is experiencing this more frequently.
I noticed something odd. I unplugged it and plugged it into the front USB port on the PC, and it worked. I don't think it's a hardware-related problem.
Here, now I took it out from the front IO and put it in the back IO, and it's working now?! This is getting really annoying.
i've experienced usb flash drives that didn't function with one install of windows, but worked on the next. i'm unsure if this would apply to keybaord, as i didn't encounter errors but the device failed to recognize the flash drive. i suspect a faulty keyboard might be the issue—it sometimes works, other times not. for reliability, i'd recommend using a different keyboard if possible. if it's a new keyboard, you might consider returning it for replacement. it's 5am, i need to sleep.
