Hey everyone, I experienced my first BSOD in a new build. The specs are: an H370 Aorus Gaming 3 with Wi-Fi (BIOS F11), Intel Core i5 8600K, Cooler Master NH-U12S with two Noctua fans, a GTX 1050 Ti GPU, updated drivers for the SSD, Western Digital drives, a Blue 2TB and Red 3TB HDD, and a Seasonic PSU. The case uses the cooler master N300, with 140 front and 120 back fans plus the top exhaust.

My system runs Windows 10 Pro 1809. Temperatures are normal—35°C to 40°C idle, 60°C under load—especially during hot summer days. No major issues except a GPU driver problem on Windows 10 that caused black screens in a previous 1903 build. The Wi-Fi adapter (Intel AC9560) works fine even with some warnings in Event Viewer.

Recently I tried pairing my Samsung J3 2017 phone with the PC after a clean Windows 10 1809 install and an Android OREO update. The phone connected but didn’t pair properly; Windows detected it but couldn’t communicate. I rebooted both devices, but after a reset the PC wouldn’t restart, and pairing failed again. Eventually, I got a BSOD labeled “driver power state error” and the system froze at 0% for a while. I had to force a reset.

I didn’t get a DMP file, so I can’t analyze the crash further. My drivers came from Intel (20.110) and Gigabyte (21.10.1), not from a manufacturer site. I tried rolling back to the latest Gigabyte driver for BT but didn’t pair again.

My concern is whether this BSOD might be linked to a Bluetooth driver issue. I haven’t found any similar problems in my build, and everything seems to be working now. Thanks for your help!
