error in viewport of Ubuntu system
I've been working on fixing the viewport resolution for about three hours. It hasn't worked, and I couldn't find a solution on the Ubuntu forums after spending around an hour trying to install drivers. The screen resolution seems to be 1680x1050, but it won't go higher than 960x540. Maybe I'm doing it wrong—I don’t know what to do next.
GTX 1070 paired with the specified driver from NVIDIA's website.
Install the drivers using the Ubuntu package manager instead of the official NVIDIA tools. This method has been confirmed to function properly within the userland environment.
Confirmed, manually adjusted xrandr to the correct size. Any changes outside the screen area prevent crashes.
Consider reinstalling for a fresh setup using only the drivers provided by Ubuntu. Ensure it functioned properly with the original NVIDIA drivers before proceeding.
using the standard software, just a couple of the three displays come alive while maintaining full quality. The NVIDIA drivers for Ubuntu remain unchanged, and I’m mainly interested in exploring a Linux setup.
