I bought an MSI x370 carbon pro with 32GB RAM, which came in two 2x8GB sticks. Both were rated for 3000MHz with matching timings. Now I can only get them stable at 2667MHz. Should I upgrade to 3200MHz 2x16 RAM or fix the issue? My motherboard has Vengeance LED 3000MHz (15-17-17-35).

For a first-generation Zen CPU, it's completely acceptable. These chips don't prioritize fast memory, which can limit performance when capacity and stick count rise.

Have you attempted to input timing, voltage, and frequency manually? Yes, sometimes 3000mhz on Ryzen 1 seems excessive.

I achieved roughly 2733 without adjustments, about 2800 if I significantly relaxed the timing settings. I also observed my Minecraft FPS remained much steadier at 2800.

2666 works adequately for Zen 2 with the memory kit installed, just push the FCLK up to a steady 1800MHz.

I was planning to replace the current setup with a 2x8GB configuration, since the current performance is causing my FPS to swing widely in Minecraft (120-400 frames per second).
