Error in RAM Assistance
I bought an MSI x370 carbon pro with 32GB RAM, which came in two 2x8GB sticks. Both were rated for 3000MHz with matching timings. Now I can only get them stable at 2667MHz. Should I upgrade to 3200MHz 2x16 RAM or fix the issue? My motherboard has Vengeance LED 3000MHz (15-17-17-35).
For a first-generation Zen CPU, it's completely acceptable. These chips don't prioritize fast memory, which can limit performance when capacity and stick count rise.
Sure, it sounds like you're weighing your options carefully. If you're not aiming for the highest speeds, maybe a simpler solution is enough.
Boost your setup even more before making additional changes.
I was planning to replace the current setup with a 2x8GB configuration, since the current performance is causing my FPS to swing widely in Minecraft (120-400 frames per second).
