they didn’t have any feedback until the product dropped, which is crazy. Steve from Gamers Nexus kept working on the reviews late at night while he was testing the game.

Consider this perspective. The 5600x is aimed at gaming. The 5800x serves the same purpose plus gaming and video editing/streaming, with faster rendering. Each model is designed for top performance in gaming; while not all reviews are final, I expect minimal variation in gaming speed across them. Some will be better suited, but many won’t be necessary. I’ll go with a 5800x since it fits my needs—gaming, streaming, and video editing—and I’m confident it’s powerful enough without needing the higher specs. I’ll hold off until a price drop occurs.

It seems the 5800x could be more appealing if its price dropped between 349 and 399. A lower price might boost interest, and eventually a 5700x could become the preferred choice.
