Hello everyone, here’s my latest setup that hasn’t functioned properly after assembly. It includes a 7900XTX, 7800X3D, 32 GB DDR5 RAM, Asrock B650E Riptide board, Samsung 980 Pro, and a 2 TB NVMe drive from Samsung. I’m experiencing crashes to desktop while playing COD MW3, plus random freezes in Fortnite and Starfield. These issues appear between 5 seconds and 15 minutes into the game. When it crashes, I see a DirectX error in COD and usually in Fortnite. Sometimes the Corsair iCue software also fails, causing the RGB fans to reset to rainbow.

I’ve tried several fixes: checked game file integrity in Steam (81 files found, re-downloaded), reset BIOS to defaults (disabling XMP, PBO, Resizable BAR), used DDU in Safe Mode to uninstall and reinstall the latest AMD Adrenaline drivers, updated AMD chipset drivers, removed and reinstalled COD MW3, re-seated the GPU, verified PCI-E power connectors, and shut down all Corsair processes via Task Manager.

I’m really stuck and need advice. This has been incredibly frustrating since I built it. Any suggestions would be a huge help. Thanks, Ben.

I’ve been facing the same problem. After adjusting according to that YouTube guide, I haven’t experienced any crashes while playing Cod Mw3 at 4K resolution. It’s running around 200fps on standard settings. I also have resolutions of 7900x and 7700x. Watch this video: https://youtu.be/mH9NGfZKU9I?si=5WZkJcszMYTunU74

You're enjoying multiplayer games with anti-cheat systems, though they might sometimes act strangely.
