You need your public IP address for this. Your internal router must direct certain ports to the server running the game. Details on this should be found in the game servers documentation. Check the games forum for advice and tricks on proper configuration, as setting this up can be tricky. Also, learn about how IP addresses and ports function—these skills will remain useful throughout your digital journey.

I completed the server setup, installed plugins, and ensured it works only on the IP address.

I’ve covered everything, know a lot about the game and its plugins, but not the IP stuff. Some people face similar issues too. I’m avoiding costs by building a game server myself on my PC.

This sounds really confusing. It might take me a month to figure out how to connect an IP address to a domain. Thanks for your understanding.

Share your router's external IP with your device's internal port. 192.168.x.x is the private range, followed by 192.168.8.100 as your local IP, and 86.38.7.235 as your public link. Your contacts need to reach the external number while you access the PC's internal one. Port forwarding handles the transition from outside to inside.
