I've played the game for 174 hours both online and offline without any issues. Today it prompts for activation, which it did after I downloaded it on Steam—it was linked to my social club. Guess what... a mistake can't be ignored. It shouldn't be asking for this since I installed it when I first got it. Anyone have a solution?

I understand it's similar to requesting a trip to the moon, but have you reached out to Rockstar or Steam support?

I discovered the truth. My dad was tampering with the firewall and restricting access to unauthorized content. Now it's fixed.
