Hi there, I recently purchased a new motherboard (ASUS ROG STRIX B650-A) along with a new CPU (RYZEN 7800x3d) and DDR5 RAM (2X16GB CORSAIR 6000MHZ). I went to "Windows Update" to install drivers and updates, after some installations the PC restarted. Once the first Asus ROG logo appeared, it booted instantly but displayed a blue screen with the message "ACPI_BIOS_ERROR". I tried various fixes—clearing CMOS, updating BIOS, changing ACPI settings in BIOS, resetting the system—but nothing resolved the issue. It only shows the bluescreen when loading Windows. Before starting the updates, everything functioned normally, including gaming sessions after a few updates and restarts. Additionally, an amber light on the DRAM LED was visible, but I checked the RAM multiple times and confirmed it was installed correctly. The motherboard is new and compatible, so I’m unsure what’s causing the problem.

The entire system with its specifications has been provided, including model numbers for all components. Did you perform a clean Windows installation? Were you installing Windows on an existing drive that already had the previous CPU and motherboard? It's typical to reinstall Windows when upgrading the motherboard. I recommend backing up all data from your drives, then proceeding with a fresh Windows install to check if any issues persist.

I completed a clean windows installation after replacing the motherboard. I noticed the system lights change as follows: upon powering on, an amber light appears on the DRAM LED, followed by a red light on the CPU LED, then a red to white transition on the VGA, white on the BOOT LED, and back to orange for DRAM. Eventually, it triggers a blue screen with an error. I’m unable to share full system specifications since I can’t boot, but here are some details:

PSU: CORSAIR 650W VS SERIES™ VS-650 POWER SUPPLY
GPU: GIGABYTE RTX 2070 SUPER 8GB
CPU: R7 7800X3D
RAM: 2x16GB CORSAIR VENGANCE DDR5 6000 C30
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B650-A GAMING WIFI
CPU Cooler: COOLER MASTER LIQUID ML240 LITE

I also wanted to see if I could install another OS such as Ubuntu, and it was successful. The installation proceeded without issues, and the Ubuntu system functions properly. I played a few games and they worked just fine, indicating all components are operational. When I tried installing Windows 11 while using Ubuntu, the same error appeared: 'ACPI_BIOS_ERROR'. It won't boot at all, only showing the first Windows logo before the blue screen appears with this issue. I'm really struggling with this problem for the past four days and have exhausted all possible solutions. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
