Error encountered with RAM module installation on Corsair Vengeance LPS 8GB.
I own an ASRock a320m-hdv 4.0 board with an A8 APU for testing, paired with an RX 570 and the specified RAM. When I install one or two sticks of that RAM, no video appears. I tried clearing the CMOS but it didn’t help. Then I switched to another 8GB stick and it worked, showing 12GB total. However, when only the 8GB stick is present, the system fails to boot. I suspect the A8’s memory controller might be faulty, and once my Ryzen 5 1400 arrives it should resolve itself. To summarize, I reset CMOS, adjusted overclocking, set defaults, and manually configured settings—only successful with the 8GB stick. My motherboard has two slots. Thanks ahead!
