I own an ASRock a320m-hdv 4.0 board with an A8 APU for testing, paired with an RX 570 and the specified RAM. When I install one or two sticks of that RAM, no video appears. I tried clearing the CMOS but it didn’t help. Then I switched to another 8GB stick and it worked, showing 12GB total. However, when only the 8GB stick is present, the system fails to boot. I suspect the A8’s memory controller might be faulty, and once my Ryzen 5 1400 arrives it should resolve itself. To summarize, I reset CMOS, adjusted overclocking, set defaults, and manually configured settings—only successful with the 8GB stick. My motherboard has two slots. Thanks ahead!

Corsair offers decent RAM options, but it doesn't provide top-tier support.

Did you check all the * in the details of your motherboard? This one really stands out: *Actual support may differ depending on the CPU (for RAM)*.

Actually, it makes sense now. I realized it functions properly when both my high-speed RAM and Corsair RAM are active.
