Error encountered with product ID 3090.
Thanks for your advice. I couldn't find anywhere in my BIOS that indicated a 2nd graphics card, nor does it show up in GPU-Z and Device Manager. Please let me know if I'm missing some information here. Edited May 18, 2022 by invectiv Added info
I verified your motherboard manual because it indicates the 1650 is operating at full x16 lanes. This aligns with your setup, as the other PCIe16 slot is connected to the chipset with x4 lanes. The 3090 should appear in the dropdown menu within GPU-Z. In Device Manager, under display adapters it should show either an RTX 3090 or a standard VGA adapter. If it shows partially, it likely indicates an issue, appearing as an unknown device in the manager. You don’t need to expand a category to spot unknown devices. Even if it’s hidden, you can use nvflash and scan for devices as a precaution. What you’ve done now is essentially flashed the BIOS of a non-functional GPU, allowing you to list devices with a compatible nvflash tool from sources like techpowerup (nvflash.exe --list). If it still isn’t visible, the GPU is likely severely damaged.
