Error encountered with debugging code on a 10-computer system.
Hello, I just completed assembling a new PC but when I power it up it immediately activates all fans and RGB lights, then shows code 02 before shutting down repeatedly. The process loops endlessly without any output reaching the monitor, preventing access to BIOS settings. My system includes: AsRock X570 Taichi, AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, Corsair Vengeance LPX 2x8 GB 3600MHz (CMK16GX4M2D36000C18), GTX 670, a 2TB Western Digital WD2002FAEX drive, an Adata SU800 SSD, and a 525W Extreme PSU from Cooler Master. I recently updated the BIOS to the latest version, which eliminated error code 02 but introduced a new error code 10. The PC still powers on fans and displays the error code on the motherboard, causing crashes and repeated attempts to restart.
Thank you for your feedback. I attempted several solutions but none resolved the issue. I also tried using just one stick and moving RAM to other slots, yet the problem persisted. Currently, my RAM is installed in A2 and B2 slots.
Keep in mind the 525w is listed as peak output. This doesn't reflect initial startup or steady draw. I used an Antec earth watt 500w unit and it behaved similarly, but after moving to a different home, the PSU wouldn't power the rig. I didn't alter anything except the location, and it only ran about twice before stopping. That was roughly 11 years ago.
