Error encountered with BypassIO because of the EPMVolFl.sys driver issue.
Microsoft just added a check to Xbox Game Bar to verify DirectStorage support on your PC. Your system seems to recognize it but shows an error about EPMVolFl.sys not being supported. You might need to update or reinstall that driver. Your GPU is the MX150 and you're using an NVMe SSD (A2000). Make sure virtualization is turned off in BIOS, as disabling it can affect compatibility. Let me know if you need further guidance.
I discovered the file on that page and scrolled through it looking for uninstall options. Any warning about downloading or updating suggests it might be suspicious. It could also be a malware. Running a scan with your antivirus is a good idea.
It wasn't detected in both the W11 Settings app and the control panel app list.
A file was found that shouldn’t exist. I’d consider reinstalling from the beginning. Then, apply the latest update for GameBar first, and check if it works.
Same problem again. Uncertain if the NVME Samsung 980 PRO was running as a dynamic disk and not visible, or if that played a role. Changed it to basic storage using EaseUS Partition Master to unlock more options. Definitely not the best setup, but now an NVME drive appears. I just installed Windows 11 recently—everything is set up for work and gaming. Not eager to reinstall now since DirectStorage isn’t offering much benefit yet.
