Error encountered: Windows cannot start.
I saved some motherboard tools for my Gigabyte board. One needed a restart, so I did it. After that, Windows opened normally until the desktop appeared, then I saw a blue screen. I'm attempting to boot in safe mode and remove the software. I had to restart again because the first time it blocked uninstalling one of them—those weren't available on the Gigabyte site. There are two of these that were just installed, but I can't delete either in safe mode and they show these warnings. Program 1: Error 1719. Windows Installer service couldn't be reached. Please check with your support team to confirm it's registered correctly. Program 2: Wait until the current app finishes uninstalling or changing before trying again. (I don’t understand why this says so, and I’m not uninstalling anything.) Help needed! I can’t open Windows because it crashes. This is clearly linked to these two programs from Gigabyte’s site.
I think I can give it a shot... but I’m certain this software is causing the loading issue on my desktop. I mentioned earlier I was in safe mode trying to remove programs, yet I’m still seeing error messages. I don’t want to risk a system restore since I’m unsure how much damage could be done.
Same issue again—just install fast, then try to remove it, stop the process in Task Manager.
You can indicate a thread as resolved by using the appropriate feature in your platform—typically this involves navigating to the thread details and selecting the 'Mark as Solved' or similar option. If you encountered a system restore recently, ensure the restore point is still accessible for reference.
