I've changed your BIOS and encountered an issue where the screen goes black and the keyboard turns black. The motherboard is an Asus Maximus Hero XI.

Have you attempted to reset the CMOS? You can do this by pressing the clear CMOS button on the motherboard’s back (above the IO ports) or by removing the small battery on the board for 30 seconds to a minute, then reinserting it.

You can refresh the bios using the button on the back, and save the bios to a fat32 formatted USB drive.
