All contents in the locker except the shovel are set to default, but I can't remove backblings or similar items. The same problem occurs with my friend. We should double-click the large X to deselect it, though it doesn’t work and I just remain on the screen without any changes. Pressing ESC cancels the action. I’m only able to switch between inventory items, which began after the season 5 update.

The same issue keeps occurring with me. A friend suggested that by repeatedly clicking the desired item and then pressing ESC, you might be able to equip it. I’m not confident it will work since he’s using XBOX and I haven’t tested it on PC, but I thought it might be worth a shot.

it's some kind of bug. What you can do is click on the x button, then right click on the random button twice and then boom, the item is unequipped. You're welcome
