I'm really frustrated. It seems Windows 10 isn't working right. I thought fixing a single bad file would help, but it didn't. After installing it, I left it alone while doing other tasks. When I came back, the driver update showed up as updated to Windows 10, so I thought everything was fine. But in the drivers folder I didn't see the Windows 10 version, which made me think it was a mistake. I then downloaded the driver from NVIDIA and installed it, restarted the PC. I was hopeful this would solve the issue, but it didn't. I've tried reinstalling games, updating drivers, checking files, and even running Steam as an admin and Rocket League in compatibility mode. Still nothing. Why is this happening? I should have stopped upgrading sooner.

Consider using CCleaner to clear out outdated drivers. Run the program and then reset them. Go through that process again. It might help if you need more assistance.

I believe I made a huge mistake. I clicked right-click on my GPU to remove the driver and delete the software, thinking it might fix things… But now the new driver can’t install because it can’t locate the right graphics hardware. What should I do next?

You likely restarted the system after taking the card out of Device Manager. Windows should automatically recognize it again.

I surrender. I dislike Windows 10. I dislike Rocket League. I despise everything.

Perform a fresh installation, upgrade all drivers, refresh redistributables, and ensure the game functions properly.
