First of my hardward list. [DDR5] MSI MPG Z690 EDGE WIFI ATX [32GB RGB] ADATA XPG Lancer RGB 5200Mhz 16GB Intel Core i7-12700F 12core MSI VENTUS 3X PLUS GeForce RTX 3080 10G OC [850W] MSI MPG A850GF 850W 80Plus Gold MSI MAG CORELIQUID 240R MSI MPG SEKIRA 100P ATX MSI M470 1TB NVMe SSD ×1. I was using dual monitors with my 3080 and onboard graphics all the time. Yet suddenly the monitor connection to the onboard video port fails. I verified BIOS settings, monitor, and cable – everything seems correct. I tried disconnecting the graphics card and linking only via motherboard, but the PC still won’t boot with a beep code. I reset the RAM and it doesn’t help. Once I connected my graphics card, only one monitor appears (the one attached to it). What’s going on? Any advice?
your GPU supports several monitor connections, including DP USB-C and HDMI. it usually displays three monitors easily, but often disables the IGPNU to focus on troubleshooting. in your situation, it seems you don’t have IGPNU enabled, which is why it doesn’t work with your mainboard. this functionality typically requires a CPU without F skew, which is why it’s only used for diagnostics.
