I purchased an Asus P7P55D motherboard. All functions operate normally except for Windows installation. When attempting to boot Windows 7, 8 or 10 from USB the system restarts, freezes, or displays a blue screen. Changing BIOS settings or unplugging connectors has no effect. Linux runs perfectly.

I'm creating the USB drive using a USB 2.0 or 3 port. It supports network booting and works with CD drives.

I created Windows 7 and 8 using the Windows USB DVD tool for Windows 7 and Windows 10 with the original USB maker from Microsoft. I'm running on USB 2.0 and have the legacy boot feature turned on. Booting from a CD isn't possible since I don't have one.
