I can't run Openshot anymore. I turned on allowing it to execute files, but it still doesn’t work properly. It functioned a few days ago, yet now I have to click around ten times for it to respond. After clicking excessively, only a few windows appear before they vanish quickly. This app is essential—other editors crashed when I dragged audio onto the timeline. I’m using Pop!_OS 22.04.

You can run it from the command line to see the error. Have you used any other editor before?

You can view the error message by opening the project in Shotcut and checking the logs or output window for any warnings or errors. If you need further help, let me know!

Execute Openshot via command line. Expect numerous output messages in the terminal; this should help identify any errors. Launch a terminal or console and type openshot-qt. If needed, try Kdenlive as an alternative.

They launched version 3.0 last month. Consider installing the latest one from Pop! Shop or Flatpak.
