Error encountered while attempting to apply HDR at 144Hz.
Suddenly, my monitor refused to enable HDR at 144Hz, only working at 60Hz or below, even though it had functioned perfectly for months. I haven’t made any adjustments that could trigger this issue, and it appears to be a Windows-related problem. As soon as I click “Use HDR,” the toggle switches instantly off. Why does that happen? I’ve tested various cables, but nothing has resolved it. I didn’t alter anything on the PC that should have caused this change or any Windows updates at the time it started.
Consider the resolution at which you attempt HDR 144 Hz, the connection method (HDMI or DisplayPort), and the GPU you're using.
Running at 4K is feasible using a DP 1.4 connection, which you're employing. All hardware capabilities confirm support for 4K, 144Hz, and HDR, indicating the problem likely lies in the software.
