I built the system and everything functioned smoothly. I tried to let it sit quietly, but now when I power it up I see a yellow indicator and the QC code 15 appears. The machine shuts off suddenly after just 10 to 15 seconds, even though it stays on for a moment. Lights for RGB, fans, and pumps activate while the motherboard is running. I disassembled the whole setup to test it on a bench. I removed the RAM heatsink and added them to a waterblock. Using just one stick of RAM in the first or third slot triggers code C5. I think this points to an issue with the RAM, but I’m unsure how to fix it. My configuration: 7950x3d Asus Rog Strix X670E, 2x32GB, GSKILL Trident Z5 Neo, Neo 7900XTX, 1TB SSD, 990 Pro, 2TB SSD, 990 Pro EVGA, 1300W P+ on Windows 10.
I took out all the water cooling components, reset the CMOS, and performed a BIOS update. The RAM waterblock was added just for extra protection, and it also includes a screen to show temperatures and other info.
