Error encountered upon starting the system fresh.
I just finished putting together a new rig and everything looked fine, so I went ahead to install Windows using a USB. After finishing the custom install and logging into Microsoft, the computer suddenly blue screened and wanted to restart. Upon restarting, it prompted for the key again before failing at the installation step. I tried a variety of things including formatting the SSD partitions again and reconfiguring the USB installation media, but it keeps cycling through restarting and blue screening at the installation step to report various errors including memory management, security check failure, etc. Does anyone know what's going on? Thanks. Parts are attached below.
Do you recall whether UEFI or MBR was used? There have been problems with UEFI installations, especially in Windows 10 21H series. If you have an older version like 1909 or 2004, consider applying the latest updates from both Microsoft and AMD before upgrading for a smoother experience.
I'm not sure, I used Microsoft's utility to download the ISO and create installation media with my flash drive. The product key I bought is for version 20H2, although I suppose that doesn't matter. It doesn't look like I'm given the option for 1909 or 2004 on Microsoft's website... https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software...ndows10ISO
It went through multiple error messages such as 0x8007025D, though it seemed to show different issues each time I restarted or tried to install. I eventually gave up on entering the activation code and the same problem continued. The ISO file was obtained straight from Microsoft's site. https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/software...ndows10ISO
