I did it. I plan to play a game for a while and check if it works. I might also run some stress tests.

I've been running an OCCT stress test for an hour and it's still functioning properly. Usually it would have failed by now under this intense load, but so far everything is fine. I'm still being cautious. It seems either the Windows reinstall or XMP was disabled, so I plan to replace my 550w PSU with a new one within the next month. Do you have any recommendations for a reliable 750w PSU that will last longer during upgrades?

I'm using a brand new NVMe drive as mentioned, but I haven't connected my Kingston and WD Green yet, and I've observed some changes. Previously, I experienced occasional microstutters where the computer would briefly freeze accompanied by a loud buzzing noise. That seems to have been resolved. (just kidding)
My latency in LatencyMon has significantly improved and no longer reaches the red zone as it did before.
Everything now feels much faster.
My downloads on Steam no longer randomly drop from 560mbps to 0 mbps for a few seconds, which used to happen whenever I downloaded games to the WD Green.
I ran OCCT for almost two hours with no errors detected. Before, it would typically identify issues around 20 minutes in.
My NVMe's health is at 100%, while the WD Green was four years old and had only 70% health, achieving just 540 MB/s read and 430 MB/s write speeds, whereas my new NVMe supports up to 3500 MB/s. I must admit the WD Green was heavily used for demanding games like Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption II, Spider-Man Remastered, Apex Legends, and many others since 2020. That heavy usage might have worn down the SSD (and it's not even intended for gaming).
The audio occasionally pops when playing music.
Of course, there were clear signs of something wrong that I initially dismissed, but I thought it was getting worse until the crash prompted this message. I wasn't sure an SSD could cause such issues since my OS wasn't installed there.
Again, I'm relying on luck. I'll update if anything happens again or if I decide to upgrade my PSU.
I might try enabling XMP again to see if it was the actual cause of the crash and the SSD problems over the past couple of years. I've read that a Ryzen 5 2600 doesn't support RAM speeds around 3000hz, which could be a factor.
I'll eventually reinstall my Kingston drive because it's also new and has full health. My WD Green is four years old and never had Windows installed, while my previous SSD was even older than the WD Green—made by Biostar and only 120GB, paired with an A230 motherboard that had Windows before I purchased the Kingston.
In short, this has taught me a valuable lesson: reinstalling Windows after upgrading the motherboard is quite significant.

I've been playing for hours, never again. It seems whatever it was was already fixed, but I'll still keep hoping. If anyone knows what might have caused it, I'd love to hear their thoughts. Regardless, I'm going to buy a new PSU just in case.
