Error encountered during video scheduling: BSOD video scheduler.
Error encountered during video scheduling: BSOD video scheduler.
Hello, I thought I had already resolved it by running a scan in the Command Prompt or checking the disk.
For context, my system includes:
Ryzen 5 3600
RTX 3050
16 gigabytes of DDR4 memory
Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2x8GB) DDR4 DRAM at 3000MHz
650-watt PSU from Rosewill
I just wanted to understand what caused the problem initially.
When I started Starfield while watching a video at 1080p, my PC froze briefly during launch (this has never happened before).
I was adjusting display settings in-game and then loading save files, which also froze again, resulting in a BSOD.
What was unusual was that after the issue resolved, Starfield ran normally and I could play and move around without problems.
I suspect the problem might have been related to the DLSS mod for Starfield, though since this is the first time it occurred and I’ve played through early access, I’m not sure.
I managed to retrieve a dump file from Mini Dump if that would be useful for further investigation.
Anyone else can assist with more error logs if needed.
Thanks!

It's likely your video scheduler struggled under the workload and encountered an error, though other factors might be involved. You can also consult your Event Viewer or Reliability Monitor for more details.
It seems the issue was caused by driver error. The initial two errors in the Reliability Monitor were recorded.
I performed a fresh installation of the latest NVIDIA driver to ensure Starfield operates smoothly once more. Appreciate your assistance.
