I upgraded my RAM without verifying compatibility, which caused issues. The motherboard supports Gigabyte Z370M D3H-CF CPU, Intel i5-9600kf, RTX 2060 Super, and the new RAM is XMP 2.0 compatible. When I enabled XMP, the system would crash until the BIOS reset. There’s no way to raise the speed beyond the default 2133 MHz. The recommended motherboard for these components is Gigabyte Z370M or similar models supporting DDR4 and XMP.

I attempted to adjust frequency and timing parameters, applied an XMP setting, and then reduced the frequency to around 3500 MHz. (I'm working on it; my 12400 doesn't reach 3600MHz either)

I turned on the xmp feature and then adjusted the frequency to 32, which now runs smoothly at 3200 speed. I’m satisfied with the result. It took some time to realize I could simply enter 32 during a double-click and adjust it as needed. I was hoping for a BIOS prompt, but typing it in works fine. I may experiment with higher settings later, but right now I’m content with CPU overclocking and memory at 3200.

The settings are configured for 3600MHz, likely CL18-22-22-42. You might adjust the standard timings to 3200MHz CL16-18-18-38 at the moment. (With a MSI motherboard you probably have TryIt mode for quick testing.) It's not a major issue. I'm just noting you could stick with 3200 but should tweak the timings or shift toward 3500MHz while keeping them stable. Once done, running TestMem5 or a more detailed Memtest86 is recommended.
