Hey everyone, I just set up a new system and hit a really annoying problem. CPU is a Ryzen 7 9800X3D (second-hand), motherboard is GIGABYTE B650M AORUS Elite AX, RAM is Corsair Vengeance 32GB (2×16GB) at 6000MT/s, storage is a 2TB NVMe M.2 SSD, power supply is 1000W (brand new), and the GPU isn’t installed yet (it’s using the iGPU). The cooling setup has plenty of fans and temperatures are normal.

What happened: I booted Windows 11 from Microsoft, but after logging in it blue-screened right away. It worked for a couple weeks with normal use and games, then suddenly started crashing with BSODs. The first BSOD showed a missing sys32 file. I tried reinstalling Windows, swapping the motherboard, and even replacing the RAM, but nothing changed. I haven’t installed the GPU yet. My guess is either the CPU might be faulty or there’s some memory issue. Anyone else faced this situation? Any advice would be super helpful.

It seems you haven't enabled XMP yet. Consider trying a different set of RAM modules; if the issue persists, the CPU might be defective.

Don't waste time testing stability. I faced problems running my setup to its rated 6000CL30 with certain BIOS versions (Asus X670E) last year, it crashed and I had to reduce clocks to 5600.

Visit C:\Windows\Minidump to see if any minidump files exist. If present, return to the Windows directory and transfer the entire Minidump folder to the Downloads folder. Compress the copied folder and include it in a post.

Have you attempted to start in safe mode to observe any issues?

What RAM slots are installed? Is your memory module compatible with the specifications of your motherboards?
